Qld: 13yo boy charged in violent robbery
A 13-year-old boy's been charged with the violent robbery of an older teenager in north
Queensland.
Police allege the boy and a friend targeted a 17-year-old boy riding his bike near
a Townsville skate park just after midnight yesterday.
The pair allegedly attacked the cyclist at Riverway Drive in Thuringowa .. who he refused
to hand over his abed and earphones.
Nearby police officers detained a boy after a foot chase.
The 13-year-old will appear at the Townsville Children's Court on December 20.
Police are searching for a second boy.
