Qld: Man armed with syringe robs service station
BRISBANE, Aug 10 AAP - A man armed with a syringe believed to be filled with blood
has robbed a petrol station south of Brisbane.
The robbery happened at the BP Service Station on the corner of Kingston Road and Jacaranda
Avenue at Kingston about 6.40pm (AEST) yesterday, police said.
The man threatened the operator with the syringe before fleeing on foot with a sum of cash.
The syringe appeared to be filled with blood, a police spokeswoman said.
